Confidentiality in Therapy
Therapy sessions are confidential, and we will not share any personal information with third parties unless you have given explicit consent. Exceptions to this rule are limited to the following situations:
-
If there is an immediate risk to your safety or the safety of others
-
If a legal obligation requires us to disclose information

Regular supervision is part of our commitment to quality care. This means we may discuss our work with an experienced supervisor or counsellor. Any information shared in these discussions is anonymised, with all identifying details removed.
Communication
We maintain two business lines and will only contact you when necessary. Additionally, Care Patron, our management system, sends automated reminders to help you keep track of your appointments.
Data Storage and Management
We use a HIPAA-compliant, accredited cloud-based practice management system to securely store your data. This information is retained for a maximum of seven years after counselling concludes, after which it is permanently deleted.
Data Privacy and Security
In line with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA), Inside Out Counselling and Wellness LLP seeks your consent to collect and use personal information (e.g., name, contact information) for client service purposes.
We collect only the personal and sensitive data necessary to provide ethical and effective therapeutic services. Your information is used solely to communicate with you and provide the best care.
